“To accelerate the NIPUN mission in Madhya Pradesh, 52 dedicated professionals are selected for the 2023-2025 cohort. Their primary responsibility as NIPUN Professionals is to lead Mission Ankur, the State’s FLN Mission, in their assigned districts. This involves spearheading system reform for measurable impact, identifying implementation challenges, building key functionary capacity, and enhancing monitoring and governance structures through collaboration with district stakeholders. In their capacity as NIPUN Professionals, they play an essential role in impacting approximately 23 lakh children in Madhya Pradesh.”

Mrinal, a native of Ramgarh, Jharkhand, holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Management from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi. Devesh, a native of Ujjain, has established his career in law and policy. He holds a B.A LLB (Hons.) from Christ University Bangalore and has practiced at the Supreme Court of India. He is also the author of "Ludexcracy v Democracy: A Revisit to Fourth Judges Case" and has worked as a policy consultant in the field of Human Rights at NHRC India. He now aspires to apply his diverse background as a Madhya Pradesh NIPUN Professional to create meaningful impact at scale.

Omkar, hailing from Thane, Maharashtra, was born to a family of teachers and education enthusiasts. He studied financial markets during his graduation from Mumbai University, but his early exposure to education turned into a passion and drove him towards Gandhi Fellowship. As a former Research Fellow at Delhi Assembly Research Centre, she's well-versed in public policy. Her current focus is leveraging the MP NIPUN Fellowship to address socio-economic disparities in education, working directly with Madhya Pradesh's tribal population for educational reforms and social impact.

Zaib, originally from Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, is an Engineer from the University of Kashmir. He pursued a PGDM in Rural Management at Xavier Institute of Social Service in Ranchi. His career began as a Young Professional at Odisha Livelihood Mission (NRLM) in Keonjhar. Later, at Swaniti Initiative, he worked on public policy and supported a Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament. As an MP NIPUN Professional, he's eager to contribute to the NEP 2020.

Avijit Mahato

Avijit hails from Purulia,West Bengal. He did his secondary and high schooling at Purulia and Jamshedpur respectively and then did B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. He then pursued Master's in Social Entrepreneurship from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He has worked with Tech Mahindra, TRIFED and Government of India at various capacities. He is also a start up enthusiast and has taken key initiatives to support the farmers and also to support the migrant workers during the pandemic. Rachita Pant

Rachita Pant, a clinical psychology postgraduate, brings valuable experience from working with military personnel at the Military Command Hospital and over 600 inmates at Tihar Prisons. She shifted her focus to policy, merging psychology with public policy. As an academic editor for over 140 international researchers and think tanks, she's passionate about research and has presented papers internationally. Now, in the NIPUN Professional Program, she seeks to impact Madhya Pradesh's education system.

Anika, a Kanpur native, is deeply passionate about education impact. She holds an Electrical Engineering degree from APJ Abdul Kalam University. Dissatisfied with a two-year stint in the oil and gas industry, she joined Teach for India (TFI) as a fellow. Shailja Tiwari, hailing from Lucknow, earned her B.Tech from UIET, CSJMU, Kanpur. During her undergraduate years, she co-founded 'Parindey,' a student group committed to educating underprivileged students. Motivated by an enduring desire to drive transformative change, she pursued Master's in Development and Labour Studies from JNU, New Delhi. Subsequently, as a Systemic Change Executive at the Safe in India Foundation, she realised education’s potential to break the cycle of poverty and exploitation. Now, as a Madhya Pradesh NIPUN Professional, Shailja aims to foster systemic and sustainable change on scale by leveraging her education, past experiences, and passion for social development.

Sanskruti was born in Vadodara but has been travelling & living across the country since she was 2.5 months old. She did her B.Tech from VIT, Vellore and later a Master's in Public Policy from IIT Delhi. Zaid was born and brought up in Delhi. After completing his B.Com (Hons.) from Delhi University he joined Teach For India as a Fellow and witnessed firsthand India’s educational landscape. He then did his Masters in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia before eventually joining Meraki Foundation. Here, he worked with the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development to implement its state wide, Anganwadi Center based, Early Childhood Education programs in Uttarakhand. He now seeks to leverage his experience to implement Mission Ankur in Madhya Pradesh and ensure positive FLN outcomes for all children.
